Description
File consists of audio cassette tapes of the seminar. Unlike many other seminars there are no digital material containing Microsoft Word versions of the published volume or other information such as pictures.
The seminar tape cassettes are eight TDK AR60 audio cassette tapes (four master and four copy tapes) used to record the seminar on "Thrombolysis", which was held at the Wellcome Trust Centre for the History of Medicine at UCL on 28 January 2003. The seminar was part of the Wellcome Witnesses to Twentieth Century Medicine meetings also known as the Witness Seminars. Unlike most other seminars, the transcript of this seminar was not published. However an edited and annotated extract from the seminar did appear as Appendix 3 in Volume 23 of the Witness Seminar series, L.A. Renolds and E.M. Tansey (editors), The Recent History of Platelets in Thrombosis and Other Disorders, (London: Wellcome Trust, 2005).
