Description

Cases include sudden deaths from a variety of natural causes, accidents (including medical accidents, especially anaesthesia-related), suicide, and criminal abortion, also suspicious deaths of infants, as well as cases of murder and manslaughter. Among the cases of particular interest: 9/41 "?Peeping Tom"; 9/42 shock from urethroscope; 9/81 starvation consequent on anorexia nervosa; 9/99 pillow suffocation in epileptic fit;9/270 death from petrol vapour inhalation while cleaning overcoat in bathroom; 9/297 death from blow to jaw during boxing match
