Description
Notebook containing a pharmacopoeia, medical formulae, and case notes taken at the Denbighshire Infirmary, 1826-28 (pp. 3-30), and diary entries and notes on lectures, cases, and operations while a student at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and the Meath Hospital, 1836-37 (pp. 36-279).
Included are notes on lectures and demonstrations given by Robert James Graves and William Stokes (on medicine), William Henry Porter and Samuel Wilmot (surgery), Arthur Jacob and Robert Harrison (anatomy and physiology), Henry Maunsell (midwifery), Robert Carlisle Williams (materia medica), James Apjohn (chemistry and physics) and Philip (afterwards Sir Philip) Crampton (a demonstration of lithotrity).
