The following description was provided by James Gardiner: "A double act called Shrimp and Lobster, played by Charles Gray and Jack Greer in the role of camp sailors, apparently exchanging innuendoes as part of the Christmas pantomime 'Dick Whittington and his cat' at the Brixton Theatre, 1930-1931 (interpretation of inscription on verso, partly indistinct)".
