Eastman, M.D., Professor of Obstetrics, The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland, and Chairman of the WHO Expert Committee on Maternity Care, and entitled The Midwife and World Health.
The records include general published information relating to the professional training and registration of midwives in England and Wales in the 1960s, and some information relating to midwives' education and practice in other countries.
