Description

Reproduction of a page from Medicina Antiqua, held by the Austrian National Library, Vienna [Codex Vindobonensis 93]. It includes an illustration of a mandrake being attacked by two men with spears, and a man and dog in the background, with text in Latin above. Another photograph of this image was accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum on 12th October 1935 (PHO 5095).
