About this work
Description
This subseries consists of a single file that contains the following - from Anthony Norden and Michela Wrong's Guide to the Catalogue: "Wrong wrote a lovely piece of medical history about Sir William Osler's treatment of his Canadian father, Murray Wrong, a history don at Magdalen College, Oxford, who died when he was only three - a death that led to the fracturing of the family: 'Osler and my father'. [Article is in Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine 2003 September; 96(9): 462-464]. The papers in this folder contain much of the original material for that, including the letters from Osler to Murray. The talk Wrong gave on the topic was one of his last public lectures and he used 24 slides - retained by the family Estate - to illustrate it."
