Description
The avenging serpents here are winged, while the healing serpent is entwined around a pole with a crossbar and an arrowhead, a mixture of crucifix and Asklepios's rod. John 3.14: "As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up"
