Description
Ittre in Belgium holds a statue of the Virgin (Notre-Dame d'Ittre) venerated for having arrested a plague epidemic in the 14th century. An inscription on the painting states that invocation of her name has relieved a sick person in 1637. Christ holds the orb while the Virgin holds the sceptre
