Typescript is letter from Joseph L Hollander to Eric Bywaters describing Pemberton as "very aloof and completely dogmatic - not the cooperative fellow that Bernard Comroe (my predecessor at Penn) was. Stll, we must respect Pemberton for his pioneer role in American rheumatology, even though his 'research' was completely erroneous"
