About this work

Description

According to Richard Fracowiak, Director of the Wellcome Department of Cognitive Neurology, London, Ìn the last hundred years the only way we could investigate the functions of different parts of the brain was by investigating patients who had a stroke or some other brain disease'. The programme investigates the latest research in the understanding of how the brain functions, and how this research is helping us to understand the way the brain processes information and can also be responsible for instigating physiological changes.
