$a bit of polifhed\Glafs, there being notthe leaft marks of any diftinct Lamine inthe Structure and Conformation of this Stoe. Tuis Stone was fituated in Perino. ~ Query. Is it not probable that the geeration of this Stone might originally have kgun in the Urethra, as the Patient does not rmember ever to haye had the leaft Complait in. his Loins, or any part of his Bladder;or 1s it more reafonable to fuppofe that this tone was firft of all formed in the UrinaryBladder, from thence conveyed with the Sream of Urine, when very fmall, and lodgd in the Urethra till it had arrived to this fire. EITHER. of thefe Suppofitiois to me appears reafonable. However, as Hipothefes of this kind are very difficultly afcertained, and as a Difcovery of the Faét, sould it be determinately made, would proveof very little Confequence in Practice, I {hall nolonger dwell upon a Subject in which the Interdt of Mankind appears to me to be fo little concerned... | Fd: Dd$
