Description

Poster, printed in colour on white paper, advertising the appearance in about 1880 of Farini's Zulu Princesses in some sort of variety show (involoving tribal dancing from the look of the poster) at the Royal Aquarium (a large exhibition hall and theatre built in 1876 and demolished in 1902 on the site of the current Central Hall opposite Westminster Abbey, London). The poster was printed by Aubert's Steam Printing Works in Maiden Lane, Strand, London.
