    As regards the Report now submitted, it will be noted that considerable advance has been made in abolishing the worst slum properties in both Districts. This is referred to in the section relating to Housing. It will also be seen that there has been continued progress in the work of getting the dairy farms into a more satisfactory condition. This work is slow but steady. The Sanitary Inspectors’ and Engineer’s Reports give the details of work done in their departments during the year.
