This documentary series looks at the social behaviour of children at the age of five. Hidden cameras are planted in a children's nursery to observe the conversations and social interactions between twelve children who have never met each other before. Two specialised teachers, Kate Gadsby and Oliver Le Sueur, are on site, whilst two developmental psychologists, Dr Elizabeth Kilbey and Professor Paul Howard-Jones, observe. The parents of each also child discuss what they think of their child's personality.
