Description
Dr. William H. Sweet's road to becoming a neurosurgeon included training in classical piano, aviation, physiology, psychiatry and internal medicine. He discusses work with Sherrington, White, Mixter, Hobson, Bailey, Bucy, Walker, Carmichael, Cairns, Bennett, Heyl and Jefferson. Dr. Sweet performed early radioisotope studies of blood exchanges, stereotactic surgery and hypothermia for arteriovenous malformations.
