Description
In the background is a Whig funeral procession. Sheridan is dressed in black. Two Members of Parliament kiss the Duke's posterior. Perceval runs ahead with a broom and Fame announces the Duke's arrival. Time with his attributes is prominent. In the sky a balloon falls earthwards issuing smoke
