Description
Pair of miniature brass (gilt) ear-trumpets to be hidden under hair, "F.C. Rein & Sons, patentees, sole inventors and only makers. 108, Strand, London". The items were purchased at auction by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1932 and given the obejct number A139040. They are held by the Science Museum (object numbers A139040/1 and A139040/3)
