Sketches of the practice of midwifery from the Lectures of Drs. Osborne and Denman. These lectures were delivered at the Middlesex Hospital where Denman was physician-accoucheur and lecturer on midwifery from 1769. Produced in London.

Biographical note

On verso of the first leaf is the stamped name of 'Mr Lovett' within a decoration; he was perhaps the writer of this MS.

Ownership note

Armorial book-plate of John C[harles] W[eaver] Lever [1811-1858], pasted inside the upper cover. He was physician-accoucheur and lecturer on midwifery at Guy's Hospital in 1845.
