About this work

Description

Learning Through Action is a method of teaching involving teacher and pupils in role play, activities and the use of artefacts related to the subject. Here, primary school teachers are shown with their classes as they find out about public health conditions in England in the last century. The information pack which accompanies the video is explained and teachers and pupils comment favourably on this approach to teaching and learning. The video is also accompanied by an audiotape which will be found on the shelf with the video.
