The Eye Infirmary is on the left, at approximately 110 Queen's Road: a two-storey building in the style of an ancient Greek temple with a portico of four Doric columns, entablature and pediment. Beyond, on the left, is the large new Dispensary designed in Jacobethan style by Herbert Williams and built in 1850. The building on the right housed the photographic studio of George Ruff, at 45 Queen's Road. All three buildings have been demolished
