Description

Small, charity flag on a pin. These would have been handed out in exchange for donations on a fund-raising flag (or badge) day either during a house to house or street collection. Possibly from the 1920s. It is made from glossy, coated paper, folded round the pin and stuck together. The front shows a view of the hospital and the back shows the coat of arms with its motto: "Ad sanitatem gentium, patet omnibus".
