Description
Numbered from top left to right, bottom left to right. Lavater analyses each eye. (5) "rapidly illuminates every object", but has no depth of comprehension. (6) is "more animated, affectionate, energetic and solid than 5". (7) has "dignity and genius, but it does not announce a man accomplished in the art of forming and conducting a plan". (8) has "more judgement and energy, but not the delicacy of tact peculiar to genius"
