Description
Transmission electron micrograph showing a corneal
stromal cell containing numerous lipid vesicles.
The cell is in the stroma of a rejecting graft and
is surrounded by disrupted collagen fibrils. Many
mitochondria are interspresed with the lipid
vesicles and a large nucleus is present in the
centre of the cell. A Golgi apparatus is also
present. The cell is approxmately 7-8 microns in
diameter.
