Interleaved throughout, with occasional annotations, apparently towards a revised edition (i.e. by the author?); see facing p. 29, 49, 64, 233, 250, 302. Binding: contemp. half morocco. Book-plate of Charles J. Tabor. Originally purchased by Wellcome at the auction of Tabor's library at Hodgson's, 7 Nov. 1928 (lot 702), orig. accession no. 60444. Subsequently sold (presumably as a duplicate) and acquired by Bob Akers, from whom it was re-purchased.
