Description

One of a series of chromolitho trade cards (A5) issued by M.M. Fenner to advertise his Capitol Bitters which was supposed to aid digestion, relieving dullness and flatulence, regulating the bowels, guarding against malaria, fever and bowel disorders in summer, colds and inflammation in winter. The illustration shows scene of a stag, doe and 2 fawns on the bank of a river flowing through a forest in muted sepia tones.
