Seven vols. and a supplement were published piecemeal under various titles between 1803 and 1808 and the whole was reissued with additions in 1816 as a 7-volume work (these vols. being vols. i-iii)
Illustrative matter appears to vary between copies; this copy contains a map, 39 plates and 13 genealogical tables.
