Description

Documentary looking at the day to day reality of Tourette Syndrome. Darren Grynberg and Elaine Levy, two sufferers of the disorder, talk about their symptoms and how it affects their lives. Brain biochemistry of sufferers is illustrated and the benefits and side affects of drugs such as Haloperidol, Pimozide and Sulpiride are discussed. Darren and Elaine explain the triggers of their symptoms and the connection with anxiety and obsessive compulsive behaviour is noted. Professor Mary Robertson tells of her work with the disorder and is seen in consultation with Elaine.
