Description
An information film about the versatility and uses of the 'Gloster' ladder. In a series of demonstrations, uniformed emergency workers mobilise and show the correct application of the ladder across a number of scenarios including rescuing someone from a ship, a train, roofs and a well. The ladder is modular and can be joined to another of its kind making a longer ladder, it's light and can be inserted into narrow spaces, with the attached straps, an injured person can be secured and the ladder manoeuvred sideways. At the end, Col. Hoffman appears.
