Lettering

The sickness of Hizkia. When Hizkia was sick unto death, Jesajah prophesied that he should recover within three days and that there rested for him fifteen more years to live. At the right on the background the doctor is looking at the contents of a urineglass ... Explanation repeated in Dutch. Lettering continues: Jan Lamsveld (?) geb.te Utrecht 1660. gest.te Amsterdam (?) Uit "De prophetiën der Profeten", Leiden - S. Luchtmans 1737. From an old book entitled "The prophecies of the prophets" published at Leyde in 1737. [Calendar of July 1931 underneath]
