Probably Dobell 25(b) but in fact a reprint of no. 22 ('Anatomia', 1687), not of no. 25 ('Arcana', 1695). The change of title which actually took place in the 2nd ed. of 1696--i.e. Dobell's 25(a)?--is explained in the printer's preface. Here the reference to the 'recent' Delft ed. (i.e. the 'Arcana' of 1695), which might suggest an earlier date than 1708 for this ed., has probably been retained from the 2nd ed. With engr. t.p. (1696) from Dobell 8(a) and indexes taken from an ed. in which pt. i was paginated 3-78, so that some of the page references are inaccurate. A premonitory note to the reader refers to the 'Continuatio epistolarum' which was evidently intended to accompany this ed.--possibly the 'Continuatio' with 1689 t.p. (q.v.) which is bound with one of the Wellcome copies (and with the Cole Library copy at Reading University)
