Ten women in prisons across the country share their stories. This issue includes women’s experiences with aging behind bars, solitary confinement, thoughts on the death penalty, violence by prison staff and other state-sanctioned vengeance, higher education behind bars, a call for unity among LGBTQ people behind bars.
