Description
The third in a three-part series on anatomy inspired by the work of Prof. Gunther Von Hagen who dissects and preserves human corpses using a unique preservation technique. His work is currently being shown in an exhibition called 'Body Worlds.' This episode focuses on his exhibition and his reputation as arguably 'the most notorious anatomist alive.' Critics and members of the public have their say about his work and the viewer is given a good look at the exhibition. Von Hagen talks about his early life and career and his obsession with his work. He demonstrates his plastination technique in which polymers are used to preserve the body.
