Description
Tony Robinson explores the appalling hardships of life during the 14th Century, a period when Britain was ravaged by plague, convulsed by a war that lasted a hundred years and exploited by oppressive regimes. This first in three programmes explores the terrifying impact of the apocalyptic Black Death, which wiped out one third of Europe's population in just three years.
