Letter from John Watson, Surgeon-in-Charge of the Naval Hospital, Jamaica, to James Anderson MD, Deputy Inspector of Hospitals, on the lack of proper accommodation for junior medical officers in Jamaica, and the resulting effect on their health. With a list of Assistant Surgeons at the Hospital, 1826-51, noting those invalidated out of service and deceased. Appended remarks compare their mortality rate with that of Officers-in-Charge.
