About this work

Description

A fund-rasing poster for Herwonnen Levenskracht ("Recovered vital strength"), a rural Roman Catholic organization that supported tuberculous people in the Netherlands. It ran a home for tuberculosis patients from 1925 to 1933. It held annual "flower days" to raise funds, hence the flowers in the background of the present print
