Frank Rowntree is asked to describe the health benefits of margarine versus butter. He describes recent research at the time of the broadcast, which identifies animal fats as unhealthy. A few anecdotes regarding the history of margarine Worldwide are also mentioned.

Francis St. D. Rowntree 1928-1996 was awarded the OBE in 1986. In 1987 he was appointed Vice President of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents and also Vice President of the Institute of Health.
For a period in the 1970s, Frank Rowntree was the Health Education Officer for Sheffield. He was invited into the BBC Radio Sheffield studios for a regular short weekly health spot.
