Description
The last in a four-part series of autopsies performed by Gunther Von Hagens and recorded at the Institute for Plastination in Heidelberg, Germany, in front of an international audience of body donors and anatomy students. The series aims to look at the processes of disease and death on the body. This part focuses on ageing; Von Hagens compares old and young bodies and dissects the bodies of a 47-year-old and an 84-year-old woman. Meanwhile Professor John Lee, Pathologist at Rotherham General Hospital & Hull York Medical School, provides a more medically detailed account of the process.
