Description

This film demonstrates chest rehabilitation at the Brompton Hospital on one male patient aged 37 years old. The intertitles indicate the progress of his lung illness starting with a perforated gastric ulder and then a rib resection for secondary empyema. Treatment for fluid on the lungs is suction and drainage, exercises. A group of 3 patients, one is a boy of 12 perform a series of exercises together.
