Ancient musical instuments. Plate III. 1.2.& 3 are all taken from the same piece of ancient sculpture, in the Ghigi Palace at Rome, representing a group of musicians performing a Epithalamium. 4.The tuba or long trumpet, called by the Hebrews, the Trumpet of the Jubilee; to be seen on the Arch of Titus and on the Trojan's Pillar. 5.
