Description
'Khat tsuluts' is a style of Arabic calligraphy. It reached its peak at the end of the Ottoman empire (1918). The present example has characteristics of the style of Ibn Al Bawwab who died in Baghdad around 1022, but the ornaments show the influence of the later Ottoman style
