About this work
Description
One of a series of colour leaflets issued by the Health Promotion Agency for Northern Ireland as part of their 1990-92 'Alcosense' campaign to educate young people about units of alcohol, trying to make the point that having a non-alcoholic drink is quite acceptable and that too much drinking is bad for you. All have a lively cartoon on the front. In this case a young man with gelled up blond hair and a white t-shirt saying: 'No thanks, I'm having a low alcohol day today' in red under a blue jacket is being offered a variety of drinks from left and right but is cheerfully refusing them, pointing to the slogan on his shirt.
