Mouse mutant for the nodal & HNF3beta genes

17 day old foetal mouse that is heterozygous for both the nodal and the HNF3beta genes. This mouse has no eyes, no forebrain and is missing the lower part of its face. This type of mouse has similar characteristics to certain human birth defects and may help to understand them better.
