Receipt-Book, French: 18th-19th century

Collection of 59 receipts extracted from French works on pharmacy: many for the preparation of 'waters', cosmetics, etc. Each receipt has a separate title-page and is complete in itself. Two receipts of 'Eau de Cologne' are dated '9 Frimaire An 10' (30 November 1801), but they may have been written rather later than the rest.
