Description
Woodcut illustration from an edition of 1763 (28th year of the Qianlong reign period of the Qing dynasty), showing the paths of the channels and distribution of the acu-moxa locations on the back of the torso.
Acupoints marked on dumai (the governor vessel) include changqiang (Long Strength), yaoshu (Lumbar Conveyor), yaoyangguan (Lumbar Yang Pass), mingmen (Portal of Life), xuanshu (Suspended Pivot) and jizhong (Centre of the Spine). Acupoints marked on the bladder channel of foot taiyang include dazhu (Great Shuttle), fengmen (Wind Portal), feishu (Lung Conveyor), jueyinshu (jueyin Conveyor), xinshu (Heart Conveyor) and geshu (Diaphragm Conveyor)
