Birth night live.

This two-hour programme is set in the maternity unit at Nottingham University Hospital. It includes the first live childbirth on national television, by cesarian, we also hear the story of the identical quads produced from a single egg and the laser surgery performed on two twins inside the womb who were fighting each other for survival. Perhaps most fascinating is the pre-recorded footage of intra-uterine surgery performed by Kypros Nicolaides to save a seriously sick baby in his mother's womb, as well as the surgery that followed his birth.
