The last in a three-part series looking at what biological / social factors make us who we are. This part features musician Vanessa-Mae Nicholson. Her mother, Pamela, was open about only loving her conditionally and she now wants to find out if her musical skill comes from herself or from her mother's driving ambition for her. She meets experts who attempt to swing her opinion towards either nature or nurture. She also visits a 10-year-old musical prodigy, Eleanor, who has already played around the world and she revisits her first music teacher.
