Description

Medicae facultatis Isagoge ... Jo[annis] Benedicti Sinibaldi di Leonissani medici Romani ac Medicinam practicam in Archigymnasio Romano Professoris. At the end of the text (p. 610): 'In Corporis Christi Pervigilio Anno 1656 Jacobus Philippus Turrigianus Romanus patria ac Medicinalium Institutionum auditor calamo pepercit hoc opus perficiendo.' The scribe has also written his signature in the lower margin of the title-page. Produced in Rome.

Purchased 1930.

Biographical note

The author, who was professor of botany and the practice of medicine in Rome in 1635, published his 'Geneanthropeia's in 1642: he was the father of Jacobus Sinibaldus (see MS.4614).
