    PREFACE My object in writing is a limited one, to help in extending the use of the Bad Nauheim Treatment of Heart Disease to the many patients unable to visit Nauheim, unequal to the fatigue of the long journey, or to the expense of the sojourn there. Having visited Nauheim, in 1895, and seen the good effects of the treatment in heart disease, I have since adopted it in my own practice at the patient's house for those unable to visit Nauheim. I desire to bring the Nauheim treatment into use amongst the thousands of patients
