Philip Albert Cirurgio. Before the text, an engraved portrait of St. Thomas Aquinas (by P. Mariette le fils) has been inserted. In the second part on fol. 78, there is a rough pen-drawing of 'Sant Ramon'; and on the verso of the third un-numbered leaf at the end, a crude sketch of a peacock. The date 1739 is found on the last leaf. On fol. 95 of the first section is a signature 'Albert Cirurgio de la Manrresana', written at the end of a case-history dated 1733. Three leaves at the end contain a note on 'Aygua que se anomeno Mater Balsami'. On the fly-leaf at the beginning are scribblings by Ramon Albert, apparently dated 1777, who seems to have been a surgeon, and perhaps the son of the compiler of this MS. On a fly-leaf at the end, is a note by another hand of the death of Maria Albert y Grau, wife of Ramon Albert, Surgeon of Solsona, on 25 September 1782, which is probably by his hand. Written in Catalan, with a few passages in Latin. Produced in Solsona.
